The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has cleared seven new fintech firms for admission into its Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme (ARIP), the Commission announced.
ARIP is designed to allow innovative capital market fintechs to test regulated products in a controlled environment before full licensing, enabling faster time-to-market with appropriate investor safeguards.
The initiative supports the SEC's broader agenda of expanding retail access to capital markets and strengthening Nigeria's fintech regulatory infrastructure.
