AVA Capital Plc, an integrated financial services group, says it will be admitted to the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. (NGX) on July 31 through a Listing by Introduction, marking its transition into the public market, MarketForces Africa reports.
The company disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that the admission represents a strategic milestone in its corporate growth and is not intended to raise fresh capital.
The Managing Director of AVA Capital, Mr Olukayode Fadahunsi, said that unlike an Initial Public Offering, the Listing by Introduction would not involve the issuance of new shares, but would strengthen the company's market visibility, corporate governance and shareholder engagement.
Fadahunsi said the company already met the NGX free-float requirement, with about 20 per cent of its issued shares held outside the controlling shareholder structure. The group had built an integrated financial services platform through its subsidiaries and structured transactions valued at more than N500 billion during the 2025/2026 financial year.
'We are stepping into the public market with a solid foundation, an established platform and a commitment to transparency. This is about cementing our place in Nigeria's financial landscape and building a foundation for sustained growth,' Fadahunsi said.
