AVA Capital Plc is preparing for its admission to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) via a Listing by Introduction, scheduled for July 31, 2026, Leadership reports.
This signals a strategic transition into the public markets for the Group, highlighting its commitment to long-term institutional growth. Unlike an initial public offering, AVA Capital will not issue new shares or seek additional capital through this listing.
Instead, the initiative aims to enhance market visibility, bolster governance and transparency, and improve interaction with shareholders and the wider investment community.
AVA Capital operates through its subsidiaries, AVA Global Asset Managers, AVA Securities, and AVA Trustees, establishing a comprehensive financial services platform with an expanding institutional presence. During the 2025/26 financial year, the Group facilitated transactions exceeding N500 billion.
The managing director of AVA Capital, Olukayode Fadahunsi, said the admission represents a natural step in AVA Capital's journey as a long-term institution. 'Open, disciplined, and responsible practices are what the public markets expect of us, and we view these as strengths that will enhance our institution over time,' he added.
